Zevrix Solutions has announced BatchOutput Office Suite, a collection of output automation applications for Microsoft Office on Mac OS X. The software is designed to automate printing and PDF output processes. As with most automation solutions, users of BatchOutput Office simply need to select the files for conversion or printing, adjust a few settings and the software should handle the rest. This ‘set and forget’ model allows users to set the software to process a large batch of files overnight for a morning pick-up.
Specifically, the software works with Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, and provides such options as splitting documents into single pages, configuring systematic naming conventions for output documents, reducing PDF file sizes, aplying Quartz filters to adjust PDF color tone, brightness, etc., and apply PDF security.
