Ubiquitous PDF: Cellphones as scanners

Ever wished you could simply scan and send whiteboard notes without having to worry about re-typing them? Courtesy of an online service from scanR, it seems that is now possible to do just that using nothing but a camera phone. Images sent to the service are then forwarded as PDF files via email or fax, fixing alignment issues and cleaning up background noise en route.

Prospective users can try a free demonstration of the service or find out more at the scanR website.
