Tracker Software Products Ltd., a developer of PDF and imaging software, announced that it has partnered with Spoon.net, a cloud computing company, to offer Tracker’s PDF and image viewing programs as cloud-based applications. The cloud-based applications provide a number of benefits such as reduced cost, increased flexibility, enhanced mobility and minimising local software maintenance.
The new partnership enables the users to access Tracker’s cloud-based applications from their desktops without any need of local software installation. However, the users need to download and install the Spoon plugin. This also allows the users to access any Spoon.net-based products, in addition to Tracker Software’s PDF and Image viewers.
Spoon.net has made the free and professional version of Tracker’s PDF-XChange Viewer available through its cloud-based service. PDF-XChange Viewer is a feature-rich PDF software with viewing, editing and annotation capabilities. PDF-XChange Viewer allows users to export PDFs to images, add textual content, extract textual content, add encryption, mark-up pages with pictures snapped to the grid, create new documents, add digital signatures and an easy-to-use interface.
The cloud-based PDF-XChange Viewer provides the same capabilities as of a desktop-based installation of this software. In addition, the cloud-based service seems to be faster and also comes with efficient customer support.
