This week in PDF has seen the launch of a new iPhone and iPad app for converting documents into PDF format and an update to an iPad app for viewing and working with existing PDFs.
First up, EuroSmartz has announced the launch of a new app for creating PDF documents on iOS devices. Save2PDF will allow iPhone and iPad users to simply choose files in various formats (e.g. Pages files, Word Documents and Excel files), tap the PDF button, tap Save and they will have a single PDF file that combines all of the original files’ contents. In other iOS news, Readdle has real eased an update to its iPad app for working with PDF documents. PDF Expert 1.5 creates a summary of PDF annotations that provides users with an overview of annotations throughout the open PDF document. The new version adds document signing and form-filling features, and, according to the developer, such changes made will be compatible with any desktop viewer.
