The PDF Association Technical Conference

Over two days starting on August 14th The PDF Association are hosting a technical conference. The convention covers a broad range of topics but its core offering is intensive deep technical education in PDF technology. A keynote address is going to given by Bob Wulff (Adobe Systems Vice President of Engineering); Leonard Rosenthol also from Adobe Systems about The Future of PDF; and Marco Zehe from Mozilla Corporation joining the esteemed speakers focusing on the topic of Document Accessibility for Software Developers.

Aimed at the technical PDF user – developers, technical product managers as well as technical decision makers – and Covering the topics of PDF and related ISO standards and technologies experts are taking the sessions.

The technical conference comprised of 21 highly interactive sessions which cover a wide range of PDF topics. The breadth of discussion is on a number of highly topical and current issues within the PDF world including, mobile, 3D, creation, repurposing, XMP, PDF/A PDF/UA (as in the new accessibility standard) and more. Participants will be able to attend these in two waves. These sessions are conducted by ‘top industry experts’ that are inspiring about what they have done with PDF in the past, what they are doing in the present and some of their plans in the future.
