Five Across recently announced a new workgroup
server and the addition of RSS support for its instant
messaging client software.
On the eve of Adobe’s announcement of Acrobat 7, Planet
PDF talked with Pam Deziel, Director of Marketing for Acrobat
on the desktop, about a few of the new
and enhanced features in the product family and about her
history with the company — and particularly her decade-old
involvement with PDF. Deziel was a member of the Acrobat team
from versions 1.0 to 3.0, then returned as plans were taking
shape for the just-announced version that is due to begin
shipping in late 2004.

by Doug Sahlin and McGraw-Hill/Osborne Media. It includes
illustrated techniques on how to use the Comments tab, Note
tool and the File Attachment tool, and how to add Comments
and Audio Comments.
After you create a PDF document, you might want to share it with members of your workgroup. A nice feature in Acrobat 6 is its support for sending files for e-mail reviews whereby recipients receive your document, add comment notes, and return the notes to you to be integrated into your original file.
