Saving PDFs from the Web

Are you an Acrobat Reader user who laments not being able to save the interesting PDFs you find on the web? Well, stop your sadness with this tip. PDFs can actually be downloaded straight off the web – that is, saved straight to your computer.

This tip should work in most web browsers. When you see a link on a web page – which, when you click on it, will open a PDF – you can use this link to save it to your computer. Instead of left-clicking with your mouse to open it, right-click on the link. This should pop up a menu on your browser. In the menu you’ll notice an option that says ‘Save Link As’ or ‘Save Target As’, or something similar which mentions ‘saving’. Then it’s just a matter of saving the PDF to wherever you want. Here’s a test out of the method if you want to give it a try.
