Pre- and post-event workshops announced for Fall PDF Conference

PDF Conference and Carl Young Training Associates (CYTA) have teamed up to bring a robust offering of pre- and post-event workshops to the PDF Conference this Fall. The conference, which will run from September 26-27 in the Washington, DC area, will be bracketed by a program of workshops run by PDF gurus from around the globe.

‘We’ve put together a roster of the best Acrobat experts delivering training on topics that are at the forefront of the PDF user’s world, ‘ says Jo Lou Young, president of CYTA, ‘including forms creation, FDF, creating your own plug-ins, JavaScript and JavaScript for Adobe Live Cycle Designer. It’s a great opportunity to get training from the experts who you see on the Planet PDF forums everyday.’

The line-up will include a free pre-show workshop exclusive to conference attendees, along with post-show classes from experts such as ‘Acrobat 7 PDF Bible’ and ‘Adobe Reader Revealed’ author Ted Padova, forms guru Max Wyss of Prodok Engineering, the ubiquitous PDF Sage Leonard Rosenthol and Conference chair Carl Young.

Registration for the workshops is now open. Prices range from $795 ($695 government) for two-day courses to $495 for one-day intensives and $275 for half-day intensives. Developer packages are also available. Class sizes are limited, so early registration is encouraged. It’s possible to register online at www.pdftrain.com or by phone on 1-800-758-6512.
