PDF3D has released PDF3D-SDK 1.5 which adds a new unified 3D file conversion architecture with wider support for more interface types.
‘Version 1.5 has many features requested by developers using 3D PDF functionality to their applications,’ noted Ian Curington, CEO of Visual Technology Services.
With this latest release PDF3D models can be generated on Linux desktops and servers, generating reports where users can rotate, zoom, pan, set transparency, explore and review analysis results on 3D models all within the Adobe Reader or PowerPoint presentation.
This release also provides image file loading from JPEG, PNG, BMP and TIFF format directly from the file, using the PDF3DImageLoader class. Images can also be placed on the PDF page which supports logos, legends and photographs.
The latest version is available at the company web site as well as more detailed release notes. PDF3D-SDK is available for OEM/ISV integration within commercial products and server deployment.
