PDF Conference filling post-event workshops

As it has in previous years, PDF Conference will be running a series of pre- and post-show workshops that run anywhere from a half day to two full days in length. The range of topics includes forms, JavaScript, developer topics, LiveCycle Designer and others, and some tutorials will feature giveaways to sweeten the pot.

Claudia McCue’s two-day workshop on ‘Mastering the Power of InDesign CS2 offers a way to smooth the transition for users switching from Quark or PageMaker, while ‘Adobe Acrobat 7 PDF Bible’ and ‘Adobe Reader 7 Revealed’ author Ted Padova’s presentation could be just the tonic for those looking to begin producing PDF forms. Steve Forrest from Adobe Systems will be offering attendees a hands-on look at Adobe LiveCycle Designer, focusing on the creation of dynamic forms, while Thom Parker of Windjack Solutions will be covering JavaScript in a variety of tutorials.

‘I’ve spoken to so many of our workshop registrants about their frustrations with not being able to do the things with Acrobat that they know are possible,’ Said Jou Lou Young, of PDF Conference. ‘We’ve put together a robust group of workshops to meet just about every need, whether it’s a beginner needing a comprehensive look at all features to a seasoned PDF veteran who needs to reach a different skill level.’

Classes range in price from $275 to $795, with discounts for government employees. Seats are limited, and more information is available at http://www.pdftrain.com or by calling 1-800-758-6512.
