Opening PDF documents in Full Screen Mode

Are you looking to present your PDF presentations in a less cluttered way with greater visual impact? Adobe Acrobat allows users to configure the opening settings of PDF documents to display them in full screen mode. It’s as effective as a PowerPoint display and very easy to accomplish. This tip explains how.

  1. Open the desired PDF document in Acrobat.
  2. Select ‘Ctrl + D’ to go to the Document Properties menu. Alternatively, you may click on the arrow button on the top right hand side of your PDF document.
  3. Select > Initial View.
  4. Tick the box ‘Open in Full Screen Mode’ to activate.
  5. Save the document.

You’re done! The next time you open your PDF document, it will appear in the full screen view.
