LexExec releases Word-to-PDF plug-in with digital signatures support

LexExec recently announced the release of PDFExec For MS Word, a PDF conversion add-in for Microsoft Word that allows users to convert MS Word documents to PDF, as well as update existing PDF documents.

PDFExec provides an easy and economical way to create secure PDF files from any Word document. The resulting PDFs may be securely emailed, copied to disk, or printed. PDFExec does not require Adobe Acrobat.

PDFExec supports password protection, encryption and digital signatures, as well as updating and merging of existing PDF files. Users can create and save multiple conversion options that are specific to a process or a client.

PDFExec also contains a powerful Publish Documents feature, allowing a user to specify a source directory containing any number of sub-directories and documents. Documents are automatically converted to PDF and copied to a target directory; the directory structure of the source files is replicated underneath the target directory. This utility can be used to convert Word documents to PDF and copy them to an internal or external Web server in one step. Options include the ability to only publish documents that have changed.

PDFExec has one of the most extensive help systems in the PDF conversion market. Context-sensitive help is available on every screen using Windows ‘What’s this’ help. Standard Windows help, printed documentation and Web help through LexExec.com’s online knowledge base are also available.

PDFExec For MS Word Ver. 3.3 sells for $29.99; a free, 15-day trial version is available as a free download.
