Indigo Eight launches AjaxPDF

Indigo Eight Software has announced the release of AjaxPDF, an ASP.NET 2.0 Web Control for displaying PDF documents within an existing Web page.

With this release, users can view, navigate, print, fill and save PDFs. The only additional software requirement is the free Adobe Reader. AjaxPDF also enables users to have integrated, inline presentation of PDFs within a Web page as well as customization features including the appearance of the PDF display area, toolbar and toolbar items, according to the company.

Additionally, the release gives users the ability to save and send PDF forms without coding of modifications to the existing files. Developers can also use the rich client and server-side APIs to customize and extend AjaxPDF using JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets, and any compatible .Net languages.

The solution also gives users a sample ASP.NET 2.0 Web site with nearly 20 samples of AjaxPDF including form population from files and databases, dynamic loading of PDFs, and creation and display of PDFs.

AjaxPDF is being offered at a $99 introductory price until May 1, and thereafter will be priced at $149. The company also offers a fully-functional free trial on the company web site.
