Enhanced Aspose.Pdf for Reporting Services released

Aspose, a leading vendor of .NET and Java development components, has announced the enhanced version of Aspose.Pdf for Reporting Services, its .NET solution which allows users to produce PDF reports from Microsoft SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008 Reporting Services. The new version (2.1.0) supports PDF bookmarks, HTML tags, XMP metadata, custom embedded font and rendering watermark for pages.

The key features of Aspose.Pdf for Reporting Services 2.1.0 include:

  • Render .RDL documents into PDF directly from Microsoft Reporting Services
  • Integration with Microsoft Report Viewer in Local mode
  • Create Table of Contents, List of Tables and List of Figures for PDF documents
  • Specify Arrows for new lines in reports
  • Add Footnotes and Endnotes for Textboxes
  • Render HTML code within textboxes in HTML
  • Specify the orientation of each page within the PDF documents
  • Specify security constraints for the PDF output
  • Embed font information into PDF documents
  • Specify page-size information for the PDF output
  • Set the page margin size for the PDF output
  • Includes XMP Metadata into PDF documents
  • Creates PDF/A compliant documents
  • Does not require Adobe PDF Library SDK
