Debenu announces release of Debenu PDF Maximus

Debenu has released the first version of Debenu PDF Maximus targeted at empowering PDF workflow automation. The program makes it unnecessary for users to perform manual operations on PDF files by giving them the option of Action Lists to apply predefined actions on PDF files in a stepwise fashion.

‘Debenu PDF Maximus has been designed to make automating repetitive tasks simple,’ said Karl De Abrew, Debenu CEO. By applying these Action Lists users can effortlessly create a complex series of steps to perform on a PDF and then apply the related Action List to one or more PDF files or use to process files silently via Watched Folders without any additional work effort.

Not only does this increase workflow productivity but the release also improves consistency of the workflow product be removing manual labor and human error. Additionally, workflows can be fully automated with the use of Watched Folders which apply Action Lists to files placed in the active input folder. Processed files are then saved to the output folder.

Users also will have the benefit of additional features including the ability to split and merge PDF files, dynamic PDF stamping with both text and images, text extraction capability with preserved formatting and image to PDF conversion power. The program also offers metadata control, form field extraction and flattening as well as options for page manipulation including: crop, rotate, delete, extract and insertion.

‘Customers are coming to us every day with stories about how they are frustrated with having to perform repetitive manual operations on their PDFs. They want an automated solution and that is what we’re now able to give them. The reception so far has been fantastic,’ notes De Abrew.

The program is a standalone product and does not require Adobe Acrobat or any other PDF-related software to function. The current release is only permitted for use on a workstation (desktop) but the company is planning on releasing a server-side version in the Fall.

Debenu also offers Quick PDF Library, as well as another free application, Benubird, a PDF document management tool. Debenu PDF Maximus was developed using Debenu’s own royalty-free PDF library, Quick PDF Library. Users can use the Quick PDF Library to build additional customized applications too for a small one-time fee.

Debenu PDF Maximus is available for a free 14-day download trial period and for purchase at the Debenu website.
