Aloaha PDF Suite for vector-based PDFs released

Aloaha and Wrocklage Intermedia/Germany have released the Aloaha PDF Suite, which provides users an easy way to save files in vector-based PDF via printer queues. The new release does not require the installation of a dedicated PDF printer to save documents in PDF; it can operate on NT based Operating System such as NT4, Windows XP, Windows 2000 or Windows 2003. Users do not have to attach real printers to their computers; they need only install an EMF-based printer driver. The installation package of Aloaha PDF Suite includes a generic driver.

Available as a workstation version and a server version, PDF Suite allows users to move documents from a printer queue to PDF; the automatically generated files can be either e-mailed to an e-mail address or public folder, or saved to a directory. The server license allows monitoring of shared printers for converting the queue on the server to PDF and publishing the resulting PDFs to a directory or public folder.
