Adobe offering free PDF Developer Workshop at JavaOne Conf.

Adobe Systems is offering several sessions of a free workshop aimed at PDF Developers attending the upcoming JavaOne Conference in San Francisco later this month. The June 29 sessions will be led by Duane Nickull, a driving force in the XML industry and previous JavaOne keynote speaker.


According to Adobe, the informational event will explore and explain ‘how the integration of PDF and XML can reduce development time and increase the manageability of your enterprise applications’ and provide an opportunity for developers to ‘learn more about how PDF, XML, and Java can work together to simplify data capture and document generation within your enterprise applications.’

Registered attendees will receive:

  • Summary of how Adobe has integrated PDF and XML technologies
  • Review of Adobe Designer 6.0 and Adobe Form Server 6.0 — delivered by Adobe LiveCycle, a new Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) line of server and design tools software
  • CD complete with evaluation versions of Adobe’s PDF/XML developer tools, sample code, and more
