activePDF has had a great month. On May 26, the prominent provider of PDF server and development tools announced two industry awards for its activePDF Toolkit 4.0 product — the highly-coveted Reader’s Choice Award in Visual Studio Magazine’s ‘PDF Tools’ category and the 2005 Codie Award for Best Software Component.
‘Third party products represent an invaluable service to the Visual Studio developer community, and save developers almost incalculable amounts of time and money,’ said Patrick Meader, Visual Studio Magazine’s editor in chief. ‘It is always gratifying to see companies receive the recognition they deserve from the people who matter most: the developers who use their products.’
Established in 1986, the Codie Awards is the longest-running awards program in the software and information industry that acknowledges the industry’s most innovative products and services through a combination of journalist and peer review.
‘Such recognition provides further validation that activePDF continues to provide best-of-breed software components to streamline the development of custom PDF applications,’ said activePDF CEO Tim Sullivan of the industry award.
